About Me:

Marge's main musical influences are Julianne Tarroja, a local soul/folk singer, Karen Carpenter, The Beatles, James Morrison, John Mayer, Alanis Morisette. She listens to different genres. She plays soul to alternative hence she doesn't label her type of music. She also loves OPM (original Pilipino music), artists like UDD, Swissy,Noel Cabangon and many others. She has been compared to Hope Sandoval(Mazzy Star), Leigh Nash(Sixpence None the Richer) and Lisa Loeb who is also one of her influences. When it comes to writing her songs, she has to be in isolation to be able to write. She draws inspiration from love and relationship, past experiences. Marge is by the way a self taught guitarist. She started releasing music videos in Youtube January 2010 and have been posting her work there almost every month. She is hoping that one day, she'll be able to perfrom her original songs on stage. She is hoping to find band members who will believe in her work.
